What does my donation do for the students? Your donation helps provide a comprehensive approach to cultivating in Kenyan youth the education and soft skills they need to join the workforce and build successful careers, through which they can contribute to the success of the companies they work with or create. How will Hatua use my money? Hatua donations go towards funding the education, mentoring, and career training of Kenyan students. This includes things like research, project design, proposal writing and donor cultivation, coordination and logistics.

How can I make a recurring monthly donation? Thank you for your interest in helping end generational poverty. When you make a monetary donation on our donation page you will have the option of making a recurring monthly donation and/or educating a student. Please be sure to check the box for recurring monthly donations.
How does Hatua track income and spending?
All income and spending are tracked via Quickbooks. Our Account Manager handles all of Hatua's financial records and cash flow. We have completed 8 successful audits, including an external audit by ASI & DFID.
