Hatua Likoni donates books!

Better the hand that gives than the hand that receives. Hatua Likoni has donated a total of 944 English Fiction books to four schools in Likoni Community.

The books were distributed equally to; Likoni secondary school which got a donation of 236 fiction books, Mrima mix secondary school also received 236 books, Shika Adabu received 236 books and

Moi forces academy as well received 236 books.

The aim of this donation is to promote education to our students everywhere in Likoni community. “Due to limited income, we can not manage to educate as many students as we want, but we are sure that if we donate books to schools, many students will get an opportunity to benefit from them.” Said Peter Kwame, Hatua Likoni Co-founder and program Director.

The books were received by teachers and student representatives from the schools. The schools expressed there joy and promised to perform well in English during exams. Hopefully Hatua Likoni will receive more donations in order to also donate to more schools.

Hatua Likoni encourages donors all over the world to contribute in any way in benefiting students in education. Donation can be in form of money, books, clothes, computers or any other that can better the lives of the needy and bright students in Likoni Community.
